GIGASTREAM TypeG Premium Ether is a leased line service that uses the latest transport MPLS1 and Ethernet OAM2 technologies to increase maintainability and convenience as a leased line, and provide bandwidth guarantee SLA3.
High quality and high reliability
End-to-end availability of 99.999% (the same level as conventional GIGASTREAM) by using "Transport MPLS" in the backbone.
Improved maintenance and convenience
The service remotely provides end-to-end line monitoring, fault isolation and line testing by using Ethernet OAM, reducing the burden of being on-site when installing lines and during outages.
Proactive handling of outages
In the event of an outage, NTT Communications will send notification so that the customer can quickly understand the location of the outage.
A simple pricing system
Three levels of service can be selected: within a prefecture, within a zone, and flat. Estimating expenses for implementing and upgrading networks is simplified as there is no need to investigate the distance between locations as in the past.
Starting from general 1Gbps items
The service will initially be provided in Tokyo and Osaka, with plans to expand the service area.
There are also plans to expand the lineup to 1Mbps, 10Mbps and 100Mbps items for which there is a high demand as lines to connect small and medium-sized locations.
Network solutions optimized for enterprises
Broad deployments are possible due to "access line multiplexing" using logical multiplex communication that establishes multiple logical channels on a single physical line.
It is possible to perform 1:N communication enabling communication between multiple locations at the same time. This supports the deployment of high-quality secure leased line networks.
